Travel/Transportation

Indianapolis is served by the Indianapolis International Airport. The conference hotel, the Indianapolis Hilton Hotel and Suites, does not provide an airport shuttle. There are several alternative options for transportation listed below.

• If you need accessible transportation from the airport to the hotel, contact Yellow Cab after you land at the airport.  Simply call their dispatch line at (317) 487-7777 to request wheelchair service. They cannot take reservations ahead of time for airport pick-up because flights can be delayed and they are not allowed to sit for long periods of time at the airport.  When placing your order please remember to tell the customer service representative that you require a wheelchair accessible taxi.   The fee will run around $25-$30 depending on how long it takes to get through traffic, etc.  There is no extra fee to book an accessible cab.  The accessible taxi has a lift and can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters up to 31 inches wide.  Check with Ground Transportation Center at the airport to see where to wait for the cab.
• Carey Indiana Shared Ride (Airport Connection): Carey’s shared ride service is a low cost option to calling a taxi that uses vans, sedans, and minibuses to transport people to and from the Indianapolis International Airport. The shared ride service will require that the customer allow a few additional stops in route to or from the airport. All pick-ups at the Indianapolis International Airport are made only at the
  Ground Transportation Center located on the first level of the
  parking garage outside of baggage claim area two. Carey has a staffed counter in this facility from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight. Rates for this service vary on a per person basis depending on the number of people sharing a ride. Typically the fee is around $16.
• IndyGo Green Line(City Bus Service): IndyGo’s Green Line Downtown/Airport Express Route provides non-stop service from
  the airport to convenient locations near major downtown hotels (including the Hilton) and the Indiana Convention Center. Green
  Line service runs daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cost is $7 per trip. Half fare is available for those 18 and younger, 65 and older, or persons with a disability. Advanced tickets can be purchased online, or by phone at 800-743-3333.
• Taxi Service: Taxi service is available at the curb on the lower level
  of the terminal just outside Baggage Claim. The fare from the
  airport to the Hilton should be around $25.
